Frequent Questions
Q: Why do I need to have my spark plugs replaces every 30,000
miles? I have been told that they will last longer than that.
A: A steel spark plug that is installed in an aluminum cylinder
head and subjected to our weather conditions can seize in the
cylinder head and break off during removal. Based on our experience,
we recommend a tune-up every 3 years or 30,000 miles.
Q: Why do I need to have all of those maintenance items done
every 3 years or 30,000 miles?
A: Today's modern vehicles require a more stringent maintenance
schedule. Like engine oil, which should be changed every 3 months
or 3,000 miles, the other fluids in your engine become contaminated
and require servicing on a schedule.
Q: How much is an oil change, and what do you do?
A: Our oil changes are very competitively priced. Additionally,
we offer a guaranteed discount price to customers who purchase
a vehicle through 4 Seasons for the duration of their ownership.
During an oil change our certified technician will change the
oil and the oil filter and will perform a maintenance inspection
of the vehicle.
Q: What type of guarantee do you offer on service work?
A: We offer a 12 month/12,000 mile guarantee on parts and labor,
and a 24 month/24,000 mile guarantee on the replacement of remanufactured
engines and transmissions.
Q: Can you check my vehicle for recalls and programs?
A: Every vehicle that in brought in to our service department
is checked through the Ford computer system for programs or recalls
that need to be performed. If you have a concern and your car
isn't due for service, you call call us and we will check for
recalls or programs over the phone. Just make sure you have your
VIN number with you when you call!
